I work here. You can find more of my Internet stuff on that other thing. I write real things sometimes. Email me at gillian.reagan at gmail.

I wrote about Intimacy for Businessweek (which, by the way, is one of the most underrated magazines in the city and I’m not just saying that because I write for them. It’s a consistently excellent read about Important Topics, as well as fun stuff like this). Also, sharing this convo I had with Tom:
gillian: actually my next piece is nice because it’s about the lady who created the bra fitting culture in the U.S.
“the bra whisperer” as they say
she is from long island
Tom: is she the lady at Intimacy?
2:19 PM me: yes
2:23 PM Tom: susan nethero?
“We’re gonna give you something with a lower rise and, most importantly, a deeper cup.”
2:24 PM “As soon as Susan put the bra on me, my posture changed … my whole life changed.”
“It was like I lost tin pounds.”
(TIN pounds.)
me: you know this by heartttt
Tom: oh yes I sure do.
2:25 PM me: that’s how I pitched it, actually
Tom: “You wouldn’t send a five year old kid to put out a five alarm fire.”
me: well, how I got the idea
because you mentioned the commercial one day
so ACTUALLY
this will partially be a Capital production
Tom: ha!
2:26 PM I do think—well she’s been on Oprah and stuff. But that would be an AWESOME bravo reality show.
2:27 PM me: she is already on “how to look good naked” with carson kressley.
CLOSE
Tom: a;sldkfjdlks;alsdkjfd
me: yeah she has been on a bajillion times
Tom: also
I don’t think she’s a bra whisperer so much as a boob whisperer she calms them down and gets them to do what she says
These are a few things I have written. I hope you enjoy them.
